The image depicts Sarcina bacteria (yellow). The genus of Sarcina are gram-positive Cocci and can be found in dirt, but are also part of the human microbiome. There they mainly colonize the large intestine and the skin. Furthermore, they can also be found in the stomach as they are one of the few bacteria which can resist this low pH.
