DNA packing of T4 phage
€ 3500,00
This animation shows the final step of the DNA loading of a T4 bacteriophage. The DNA is packed into the head until it has a complete copy of the viral genome. The packing motor (red) binds to a specific sequence at the end of the genome, cleaves the DNA strand, and dislocates from the head. This is the signal that the DNA loading was successfully completed and that the assembly can proceed.
