Description
The image shows a DNA explanation. Desoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) (blue) is the fundamental, double-stranded information storage (bio) molecule that encodes information about a phenotype in the form of so-called nucleotide sequences. These are made up of the bases: thymine (blue), adenine (dark red), guanine (green), and cytosine (yellow). It is the starting point for the central dogma of biology, which can be further described as the transition of DNA into RNA via transcription and the resulting gene expression, enabled through the translation of mRNA.
